What is an API management platform?

Sensedia API Platform is a powerful tool that accelerates the design, exposure, integration and monitoring of APIs, generating business insights combined with layers of security, analytics, scalability, adaptive governance and much more.

Want to know more about what an API management platform is? Watch the video below.

The different sections (or "chapters") follow the order of options on the main menu of the API Manager, the interface through which you manage your APIs and the way your Platform works. The exceptions are this very section, which includes this introduction and explanation on how to log into the Manager and the last section, Other Information, which comprises pages with extra info about some features.

The section Analytics contains the dashboard e other analytical tools that let you know everything that goes on in your Platform.

The next three sections focus on APIs. You can read about the types supported as well as how to create or upload APIs to your Manager on APIs. API Connectors explains how to configure connectors and link them to your APIs and Interceptors brings information about each one of the interceptors you can add to API flows.

Then, there are three sections focusing on API consumption. On Plans you can see how you can set up different consumption tiers, Apps explains how to set up the apps that will access your APIs and Access Tokens shows all about app tokens.

The section Environments shows you how to configure different environments to deploy your APIs across different stages of completion.

Developers explains how the registration of developers works in conjunction with your Developer Portal.

On General Trace and Notification you can read about call monitoring and alerts features.

Finally, there are two sections about a wide range of Manager configurations: you can set up security options (related to users, teams, permission roles and certificates) on Security and you can find extra configuration options on Settings.
