Infrastructure

This article was created based on the Sensedia One architecture. Latest architecture available in Q3/2022 for AWS customers. Customers provisioned after Q3/2022 already use this architecture. Customers provisioned earlier than this, use different architectures. All customers will be migrated to the Sensedia One architecture. A migration prioritization request can be made by ticket in the customer portal.

Introduction

Sensedia’s platform is integrated by several infrastructure modules. Among these modules are microservices, databases, queues, topics, cache layers, etc. The product infrastructure is basically divided into three groups: control plane, shard and data plane.

  • The control plane is related to the design time.

  • The data plane is the set responsible for the runtime.

  • The shard is a grouping of data planes.

More details will be provided ahead.
