What has changed?
The main difference in version 5 of the Sensedia API Platform is in the login and permission control. Now, this is handled via Access Control. Also, in version 5, updates come through a continuous delivery pipeline, with faster releases of new features, fixes, and enhancements.

Why API Management?
From the integration with Access Control, access to add-ons and control of permissions is done through it. As a result, the focus of our interface is on managing APIs. API Management is a component of the Sensedia platform and, therefore, version 5 is no longer called Sensedia API Platform.
